Cranberry Sauce Recipes to Reduce Inflammation
Thanksgiving is just around the corner and I want to make sure that you enjoy it! One of the most popular dishes for Thanksgiving is the super yummy cranberry sauce. I am not a gravy person, so for me, cranberry sauce is a must on my turkey.
Did you know that cranberries are full of helpful antioxidants and have wonderful properties to reduce inflammation? Cranberries by themselves are tart and to get that sweet taste, most recipes require a ton of refined sugar. In a previous post I discussed the link between sugar and pain and why you want to avoid refined sugars. In an effort to not feel deprived and to take full advantage of the anti-inflammatory properties for cranberries, I am listing my top 3 cranberry recipes for you to make this Thanksgiving. They are super easy to make because I’m not that good a cook.
Cranberry Sauce Recipe – Simple and Tasty
Wellness Mama has an amazing recipe that only contains natural sugar from fruits and honey. She uses orange juice or pineapple juice to give a sweet/tart taste and leaves out the cups of white sugars from traditional recipes.
